The Ants is a strategic Half-Life 2 modification designed to incorporate the mechanics of two ant colonies into a fun game. It can best be described as "a cross between SimAnt and Natural Selection". Two opposing colonies, the Black Ants and the Red Ants, must exterminate the other's queen in order to win. However, they must cooperate, forage and formulate strategies before this can be achieved. The mechanics of the mod enforce and reward playing as a team in order to create a harmonious playing experience. NOTE: This mod is not a "ripoff" of Insects Infestation. I came up with the idea for this mod seperately, and many aspects of this mod are different to it. Insects Infestation is an excellent mod and I would never intend to leech off its leader's intellectual property.

The Ants is still looking for a coder. It's quite integral to the progress of this mod. This mod will probably remain dormant for a while until I can find one. ShadowDragon should be making a new model soon, so expect to see the gallery updated in the near future. I'd really like to see this

I'd really like to see this mod make it to beta stage, but as of now it doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon - that is, until I can find a coder who would like to help us.
