Honestly, this is probably one of the most well crafted mods based off of a Vinesauce meme. I never thought I'd play something with such a deep and dark story like this. The detail is really amazing and well done.

Wow....this mario parody and vinesauce based sourcemod is really great. The great creepy and cool atmosphere, good levels such as the mushroom kingdom city, toadstool carnival, and especially the meltdown level, pretty neat, creepy, and dark plot, and etc. 3.bp.blogspot.com ;P

My god where to even begin? from the music to the designs to the tone its just so damn perfect!
This reminds me a lot of cry of fear for some reason, nice job!
Story was very interesting, with a lot of twists. Level desing was also pretty good, with some nice looking areas. The mod does a good job by making some of the levels feel like an actual Mario game, with the developer's unique touch of course.
Lot's of enemy variety (goombas, koopas, wario and luigi zombies, etc). My only complaint with these is that they have the standard HL2 animations.
Gameplay was mixed for me. The stealth sections were really bad because of the way they worked. Shadows keep you hidden, but the enemy notices you as soon as you leave them, even if the player is behind said enemy or if the enemy himself is facing another way. Action sequences were pretty good, even though the only new weapon was the pan sauce replacing the crowbar. Then you had some platforming sections which were fun and challenging. There were some creepy aspects of the experience as well, like the hallucinations and Mario's apartment.
The only bug I experienced was in the sewer area, where the player would die for no reason as he goes through a pipe in high speed. As far I know, this has been fixed in the newest release.
Bottomline, I haven't played a mod this good in years!

On par with the likes of Gordon Freakman and the PTSD Mod. An unbelievably, well crafted mod that overexaggerates a Vinesauce meme. And that's a good thing. That Mario throwback ending is also amazing. Nooke deserves a job offering from every game studio on the planet.

Everything in this mod is great from gameplay and story. Its hard to explain how it makes something so stupid like this so deep. When you say the story out loud it sounds stupid but when you play it becomes very interesting to say the least. And the sound track is spectacular. I only have one problem with this mod and its one level. The Train. If you played this mod you know what level I'm talking about. This level is one of the hardest mod levels I've ever played other than that this mod is great so go check it out.
