yeah, i started under source engine then i went working under unreal engine because of the advantages.
I had to learn everything from the beginning to work with unreal editor.
I even had to learn how to model under XSI,make my own textures...
Now that Tales of Wenda is under unreal engine, the mod has more chances to be released.
yea... i have a mod of my own that i'm developing under the source engine but i'm thinking about moving to the unreal engine. it'll make a lot of people unhappy but the source engine is difficult to work with (especially hammer)
since when? Hammer is the simpliest thing on the world.
And the possibilitys with coding is unbelievable.
Source engine is for me the modder friendliest engine ever.
but the unreal editor is the most complete tool for game creation ever.
Material/shader editor, particle editor, script editor, level editor and more...
in only one tool with a friendly interface accessible to people who don't know how to code.
you can save more time by using the unreal engine for game dev.
Wow! They look very nice
Dam ^^ looks fantastic.. quiet.. birds are singing.. little goblins poking your *** :P
why isn't this water reflection available in UT3? :-(
it is available, i will make a demo for that this weekend :D
wow... you shouldve just made it in the source engine to begin with
