Ultra64 is a highres texture mod for Turok2Ex with the goal to keep as close to the originals atmosphere and style as possible while getting the look more photorealistic and ready for higher resolutions like 4k. For this reason i am currently creating my own set of 2048x2048 phototextures. Great parts of worlds 1-4 are already retextured, 5 & 6 will take a bit longer, as they will need handcrafted sci-fi textures. The first beta release is out since 4th of May.

i like this, when is the next update?
When there i have found either some people to help the project progress, for example with finding out which of the remaining textures correlate to which surfaces/models ingame, or when at least there is a higher demand for the mod, say at least one hundred people wanting an update.
I'm all about it. This looks fantastic.
