Sword of Damocles: Warlords is a A-Historical Medieval Full Conversion for M&B Warband. It is a Sequel and a improved port of the the Sword of Damocles Modification on Classic M&B. This mod is based around the time of the fall of the knight and the rise of the mercenary.
This is the World Map again with the current number of castles and villages for the 3.92 release.
I have a ton of more pictures coming your way, the 3.92 Full Release has just been uploaded to ModDB and will be uploaded to FileFront, MB Repository, and Desura will be updated also.
Now i cant speed travel anymore with that much activity ;(
Map speed was fixed in the 3.92 release so I've made sure there is a lot more activity on the world map. Economy has also been fixed, so speed traveling won't be a problem.
oh yay, better get that 3.92 then xP
hmm this map looks like australia map. isnt it? are you from australia?
No, I am from East USA, Though I did use Australia as an influence. I wanted a landmass that wasn't cut off by invisible walls where the player could travel to the ends of the continent. If you want to see how the map was made you can go here: Forums.taleworlds.com
I have always felt that the map looked too much like grilled chicken... I guess I was hungry during the making of the map. hehe
Thats alot of villages ;O
Just so you know if you like to edit the scenes each one of those villages can look unique.
It would be awsome if Total war and Mount blade combined to make gameplay even better and it would make more troop space for each army.
Yeah, it is just that M&B is much more small scale compared to TW.
now, how how am i supposed revolt agaisnt my lord with all those nieghbors eyeing my lands breathing down my neck? so much coquering all of calradia=(
Not Calradia, but conquering all of Ponavosa :)
96 Towns? Even cheating to take the town instantly will take alot of time... oh well, back to trading goods.
It's gigantic! It seems even more so in game when all the towns are in place.
The only problems with it that I have are simply that it's so big that it takes ages to get to certain locations, but that's not really that bad, and the high amount of towns makes it a tad bit harder to actually find one certain town or even a faction, but that's probably because I'm not used to the new landscape like I am with Calradia.
