1 - N but i love realism in these games
2 - Y
3 - We Only play standard coop
4 - Does not matter to me, night maps usually give me eye strain lol
5 - Hard to say without much more testing, more intelligence in bots is a good thing if it does not cause crashes but they shouldn't be super human either.
6 - Y seems to be alot of work gone in but still not stable
7 - Y just for LAN games
8 - Y would be great!!
9 - Y cos my machine wont support BF3 and ill not be getting a suitable system for BF3 anytime soon
10 - lol not for us - DTPT - (Down To Personal Taste)
11 - N,, its all about the gameplay :-)
12 - Y
13 - Seem to be fine havent played enough to comment
14 - Yes but only briefly cos the mod seems to be unstable at all times on all computers for us (big shame,, perhaps need to simplify?)

very sorry to hear this buzard, im going to try to dip into my last twrm modding experience with just my brain alone here,

Objects_Realism.zip - this file holds all of the core files for the mod, I can almost guarantee this file is where and why the crashes are happening,
there is most likely a coding bug, or typo located somewhere in these files,

I Was running the game on windows vista, and it was running fine, I remember it used to crash but I was able to play a full map 800 vs 800 tickets, all the way down to zero without a CTD.

Try property editing the TWRM mod shortcut. to have compatibility and different launching features like as administrator, run in ___ mode etc.

If you still experience this problem (which you most likely are), dig into objects_realism.zip file, and see what you can debug or decode there.
the Vehicle and Weapon Files all have thier own Code .txt file accordingly, if you beta test all these weapons and vehicles in the game, with all of thier features, you >WILL< be able to narrow down the reason for the CTD!!!

in that case, please note the vehicle//weapon//place//event that took place//action or thing you were doing etc.

if bots are triggering it, PLEASE TRY PLAYING THE MOD WITH ZERO (0) BOT COUNT. and beta test the entire map that way.

if none of these issues are causing the problem, it is a error that is beyond code, which seems inevitably impossible.

when beta testing for errors, try everything you can think of doing, and see if it is (1. A TIME ORIENTED CTD, 2. A OBJECT/VEHICLE/WEAPON CTD. 3. A PLACE OR EVENT CTD.) etc. and make sure you play with no bots.

A bot could very well be triggering these events.

you will know what it was as soon as you do it, and the vehicle/weapon/object or event you were doing, because it will ctd immediately.

in that case, look for the reason for the ctd's files, and very carefully troubleshoot and fix them.

this is all i can say for the moment, please write back with your experience, thanks,

and good luck! -sw33tsp0t

Cheers for all these pointers man,, this will help direct me to the problem more efficiently i am sure,, now its just a case of time to get into this and do some testing,, something simple is triggering these events am sure and ill find it.

Would be nice to know its not an install error on my behalf tho also,,, would explain why nobody else has reported this.

Will get back to you :-)

buzard believe it or not I found the Fix Brother!

you must update your OS to the latest service pack,

and use you graphics display driver game profile capabilities to less render the game in less ways than default values.

IE. Nvidia Control Panel >> Application Profiles >> BF2 Settings

ive been playing straight hours of TWRM with no hangs, crashes or anything! turns out the coding was stable! just was some OS compat issues, my mod must be utilizing something other than the others !

Please read this and try it! hope you can its been a long time since ive been on ModDB! ill try contacting you PM or some other means!

take care bro!
