String is a short little custom story made for Amnesia the Dark Descent. You play as Henry, an old king who returns to his once underground fortress. But he soon finds out that those he left behind have been waiting for him all these years. If he succeeds he might be forgiven.
This was unbelievable. For such a short mod, it told a fantastic story, featuring brilliant voice acting, great level desgin, and some very unique puzzles and sequences. Not many scares, but the atmosphere is really good. Besides, this mod was made to be more story driven.
If you have about 30 minutes to kill, and / or are looking for a more casual Amnesia mod, this should be top of your list
