Due to complaints about this Random Event (and the fact that some people simply don't like it) Sinful Studios has developed a small mod for people to download that removes the Open Rebellion Random Event. This mod is not difficult to reproduce, but this is mainly to help those who are not comfortable editing their game files like mod developers are. NOTE: Requires Stellar Phenomena DLC and Rebellion v1.80
