Hey everyone,
The Steam and Steel Mod team is proud to present our work after lots of work since our original release. V0.1 features a ton of new units, UI overhauls, Buildings Overhauls, Embassies (WIP), more immersion, overhaul unit stats, and so much more.
For V0.2 we are ambitious to keep adding quality content as well as making the mod more stable and optimized. Some things we hope to include in V0.2 are as follows:
- At least 1-2 playable sub-campaigns. The maps have already been implemented, so we just need to add the new units
- Unique units for every faction! We've already made a dent in European factions such as Bulgaria, Serbia, and Portugal
- More unit stat overhauls as well as building overhauls thanks to Shun
- Airships, tanks, and steampunky projectiles
- Embassies - fully fleshed out, nations with strong relations with other factions will be able to open foreign consulates and have access to more units. If a faction in SE Asia opens a French Embassy, the units available will wear French colonial uniforms.
- Scripts! something severely lacking, it's time we add some story to our mod. Expect scripts such as the French invasion of Mexico, the Bolshevik Revolution, the Unification Wars of Italy and Germany, and many more.

Its crazy to me I just stumbled on this mod and there isnt a ton of youtube videos yet. Victorian total war is my dream total war game
