Description
Stargate BFM 0.3 Client Install To Play this mod, goto Custom Game inside Battlefield 1942 and select Stargate and click activate. If you cannot see Stargate there, Please make sure you installed to the correct directory (By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Ea Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\) If this is not where your game is installed, you will have to navigate to C:\Program Files\Ea Games\Battlefield 1942\Mods\ and CUT, not copy the folder Stargate BFM and paste it in the mod folder of the correct location ( ..\Battlefield 1942\Mods\) Then go back into the game and Activate Stargate BFM via the custom game menu.

Ok for some reason i am un aware this mod is near impossible to install, but have no fear people after much time looking through it all i have figured it out. What ya need to do:
IF ITS IN CAPS ITS MEANS YOU HAVE TO PAY EXTRA ATTENTION TO IT!
1.Download the Stargate BFM 0.3 Client Install and install it as you would
2.Go to your main battlfield 1942 folder, its should be in C.Drive>Program Files>EA Games>Battlefield 1942>Mods
3.In the mods page you will see a folder called Stargate_BFM go into that ONCE! and you will see another folder called Stargate_BFM, CUT! that 2nd folder and go BACK! to the mods page
4.Paste the cutted folder into the MODS! folder and when it says do you want to replace the First Stargate folder with the 2nd which it will just not in them words, CLICK YES!
5.Go onto your battlefield 1942 game as you would and go into custom game thier should be a thing to click called "Stargate: Fight for Mankind 0.3(or something similar this is from memory and ive had a long day)" with a small grey triangle click that and it should play.
For how to install the single player addon CORRECTLY! just go on to that download file and you will see another comment from me Moddb.com

Hey does anyone know why evertime i run the bfm mod and then go to create game and then select a map after it starts loading the map it crashes, does anyone know whats wrong or what i could do to fix that?

No, run in windows 98 compatability mode, and administrator mode (go to Properties: Compatability.
Use to happen to me on mods, and the normal game, did that and it works 100 percent hasnt crashed since :D

IT WONT WORK!! i have installed to the letter and i have done compatibility mode but when i start a game it CRASHES just blackscreens and its over!! CAN ANYONE HELP)!?!?!??!

Hey followed the instructions and did the downloads from here, when installing it says "Read error in the file d:\BMF_0.3_clientFull.exe" ...... why would it have d:/ and how do i solve this problem??? looking forward to playing but cant???
ok i finally got it working by installing the v1.2 patch for it but now when i activate SP or bfm it doesnt have any options.

agreed, however, u have no right to flame anyone for any mistake, ok, so stop please, insulting anyone for a little mistake is not going to help anything. i know what to do lol, that first foldier is the extracted one, the 2nd foldier is the mod folder, the foldier that custom games reads as the mod :P.
