CC-9600 Frigate image - Star Wars Rise of Hope mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Star Wars Rise of Hope is a mod that will be based on the early Empire and its fall against the Rebel Alliance and its following sucessor the New Republic.
The CC-9600 frigate was a CC-series capital ship, designed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation and used during the Galactic Civil War.
The CC-9600 design was based on the earlier CC-7700 frigate series, but did not mount the latter's gravity well projectors. As such, it had a decidedly different tactical role, namely that of a warship instead of an Interdictor. More compact and more heavily armed, it served as a line frigate. The CC-9600 had enough cargo and passenger space to transport one full regiment of troops. It also was very fast for its size, both in sublight speeds and in hyperspace, making for a formidable warship in its class.
Its armed with 8 dual laser turrets, 4 dual medium turbolasers and 2 forward fixed ion cannons.
The CC-9600 will be a mid-late era corvette sized frigate for the Rebellion, and a standard ship in the New Republic. It carries a squadron of A-Wings.
I know that its very ugly now, but I will be trying to make a better one this weekend and I still need to add it damage blast and fire.
