Ai difficulty image - Star Wars: Return to the Shadows mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption
Return of the Shadows is a mod taking place in an alternate timeline, set after the events of the Imperial Civil War. The Imperial Remnant and the New Republic have signed peace and formed the Galactic Alliance, uniting the majority of the galaxy under a single banner. Corellian Engineering Corporation, Kuat Drive Yards and Mon Calamari Shipyards have been given the task of designing a new line of modern warships while the former Imperial Task Forces are hunting down the remnants of the Black Sun Pirates and the Hut Cartel. However, when an ancient alien race invades the galaxy Yuuzhan Vong style, the entire galaxy is thrown into peril once again. The majority of the galaxy has fallen within seven days and the Galactic Alliance has been pushed back to the south of the galaxy, now ruling from Geonosis. Imperial Extremists travel to Dathomir and establish a new Galactic Empire: The Tyranny. The galaxy is thrown into war once again.
The ai has been greatly enhanced in this mod. I recently played a 1 v 1 match with a hard ai and this was the outcome.

How did you lose three space stations? Were they special structures?
I rewrote skirmish in a way that you start out with a construction ship which allows you to build your space station manually for more personalized positioning of your base. Its construction ability has a cooldown timer of 5 minutes so I tend to build more than one for extra income and a secondary position. Nice One Piece avatar btw :P
Placing a base anywhere should make things eaiser! Yeah the Luffy pic is a crazy concept idea I came up with after seeing a recent chapter a few weeks ago. It's my idea for a Gear for Luffy.
Yeah, it really adds to the way the game is played. The ai doesn't use it all to well though, so I hope to be able to fix that in the future. Right on :p my sis is totally addicted to 1P
