Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
Attention all Interregnum Players:
Rebellion just had a major update to version 1.9. While the mod itself will still run on this version with only minor quirks, it is important that you DO NOT APPLY LARGE ADDRESS AWARE after the update. Rebellion now enables this by default, and using the Large Address Aware tool from the mod download will make your game less stable.
Overall this is a great change as it makes installing the mod easier, but make sure you do not do this out of habit. You can find the updated installation instructions here. Moddb.com
There will be an update to both E4X and Interregnum shortly to fix the minor issues with the patch and to add some new tweaks and features made possible by the 1.9 update. Hopefully I can release a news article in the near future to update you on the new content.
Also enjoy this screenshot of Interregnum taken by Stardock, emphasizing the high resolution support in their announcement article of the 1.9 patch!
Looks amazing, love the work you do. And your mod is easily my most played and I have some amazing ones to pick from with Sins of the Prophets and Thrawns Revenge II Ascendancy.
Is there a way we can see if we have LAA applied? If so, is there a way we can turn it off?
In the folder that contains all your mods, at the bottom should be a little thing called "Settings". delete it if its there.
If you haven't touched LAA since the 1.9 update, it won't be applied, as it used to get reset every update anyways.
Otherwise, you can open the Sins exe file in LAA again and make sure there is no checkmark, and uncheck it if it does have a checkmark.
Well i guess that explains why my 1.8 games were always so buggy.
So is the mod stable to play or better to wait ?
Seems fine to play now, just don't apply LAA yourself anymore.
Thx for the update!
Keep being awesome!
