Myrkr

RMS Myrkr

A densely forested coastal landmass.

Ukio

RMS Ukio

The landscape of this lush agriworld is dotted with numerous pre-existing farmlands.

Vjun

RMS Vjun

An acidic wasteland roamed by ferocious predators.

Wistril

RMS Wistril

Players occupy a forested landmass bordered by water on both sides. Those who can clear the dense wood line will gain access to a bounty of mineral riches on the bordering islands.

Sulon

RMS Sulon

A network of narrow waterways separate players, who start the map with a handful of pre-constructed Farms.

Taanab

RMS Taanab

A terraced landmass rich with vegetation and wildlife. Thin rivers with multiple crossing points create natural choke-points.

Tangrene

RMS Tangrene

A craggy, mountainous world, almost completely devoid of surface vegetation and water. A network of thin, shallow riverbeds serve as a gathering point for fauna.

Pantolomin

RMS Pantolomin

A scenic oceanic world known for its intricate coral reefs. Large continents separate teams, who must fight for control of multiple small, resource-filled islets.

Praesitilyn

RMS Praesitlyn

Teams are separated by a vast river that contains tiny, mineral-rich islets.

Sarka

RMS Sarka

The suffocating vastness of Sarka's jungles and cliff networks make expensive construction a challenge, but provide plenty of natural choke-points for ambushes and fortification. A larger than normal amount of Nova Crystal deposits can be found throughout the map.

Space Raiders

RMS SpaceRaiders

Starting from a tiny central asteroid with no Command Center, players must immediately scramble to find a suitable base location amongst the surrounding rocks.

Tatooine

RMS Tatooine

A new version of Tatooine, complete with a central city area that has a capturable Hutt Palace, Tatooine Market, and Tatooine Docking Bay. Every player gets a Jawa camp that can train Jawa units. Watch out for Krayt Dragons and Sarlacc pits!

Swamps of Naboo

RMS SwampsNaboo

Start on a sandbar surrounded by swamps and mangrove jungle. There's a large water mass in the center with lots of fish. Players can build structures over wetlands, and shipyards can be built at small water holes. (Warning: AI players don't know how to build on swamp terrain)

Abregado Rae:

  • Slightly reduced amount of cliffs.
  • Adjusted food distribution.

Ahch-To:

  • Reworked terrain generation.
  • Adjusted food distribution.
  • Made player islands slightly larger and tightened resource spawn distances to ensure each player island starts with Nova and Ore sources.

Aeten II:

  • Made player lands slightly larger.
  • Reworked resource generation.

Genbara:

  • Defined as asteroid map so Computer Expanded AI will attempt to transport armies across the river.

  • Increased the distance that the AI defends its territory.
  • Fixed low farm count in tech level 1 due to checking for a carbon drop-off that isn't necessarily built, checks for Troop Center now instead.
  • Fixed spamming attack/mayday messages by restricting them to be only sent every 30 seconds.
  • Carried over Battlefront scenario support from Computer Expanded.
  • Added the random map unit train rules to Computer so they now train Ewoks and other neutral units from capturable buildings.
  • Some fixes to jedi-rating so that they are properly defined.
  • Zann Consortium now trains Nightsister Beastmasters.

THANK YOU

Again, thanks to everyone who has supported and contributed the mod over the past years. Artwork for version 1.5 is mostly finished, but we still have sound design and data implementation to do with the new civs. The wait shouldn't be too much longer, but we ask for your patience. We are not a studio, so many of us have full time jobs and/or have families/life to deal with. We work on the mod only when we have the free time to do so.

Hey ! Thx for your great work !
I can't launch a multiplayer game on a bigger map than 240*240, it goes back down when I ready myself to launch the game. Is it a bug ? Or maybe large map support is'nt ready for multiplayer game yet?
Anyway I can't stress how much what you guys do is awesome!!!
Thx ! Thx ! And thx again ! ;)

Large map support is experimental and will likely cause issues even on normal sized maps. You should not use it if you intend to play with multiplayer.

Large map support works fine in solo, I only play with it since I found it out ^^!
If you could make it possible to try I would glady test it for you, and report any kind bug or things to improve ! The maps are too small, me and my friends deplete every thing too fast, the game are too short due to it...
Thx anyway man ! This mod is pure gold!
Same level as escalation + the beta patch of total annihilation !!
Want more :)
My friend and I all have Large map support enabled when we play, even on the normal maps and so far 0 bug, savegames works fine.

We've placed a warning for Large Map Support in the EF Configurator Manual included with the download zip. It states:

"WARNING! This option is experimental and unstable; only use it in single player and at your own risk. Note that potential problems (broken pathfinding, crashes, multiplayer out-of-syncs, odd AI behavior, etc.) may arise even if you are playing on standard sized maps when this option is enabled."

I figured it out. I had to use the EF-EXE widescreen patch, and disable the widescreen error warning under “widescreen renderer” option.

Hello there Tevious and others that worked on this mods, I wanna say that this mod is amazing. Like, you guys made not one or two, but 4 new factions for a 20 year old game! Very nice.
Just one thing that is bugging me though: Attacker unit for Rebel Alliance, the B-wing? Why is the fighter flying on its side rather than T-posting like the heavy attack figher-chad that it is?
Was there... an argument about the T-pose? Did some people find it... offensive? B-wings are my favourite heavy fighter/bomber for the RA since Y-wing was kinda meh.
I just wanna know the reason behind the decision.
But all in all, good job on the mod. Very, very satisfying. (I laughed out loud at Ren Master being a shirtless swole chode)
