The point of this mod is to add portions of the Star Wars Expanded Universe- the novels and games- to Star Wars Battlefront. First and foremost, the New Jedi Order. In Star Wars, there are three main time periods. 1) Prequel. This includes Episode 1 to 3 and all novels that occur in between. 2) Classic. This includes Episodes 4 through 6 and all the novels in between and afterward- namely, the entire war with the Empire. 3) New Jedi Order. This includes the 19-book New Jedi Order series, which begins 25 years after Return of the Jedi, and deals with the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. The New Jedi Order, or most specifically, the Yuuzhan Vong, to our knowledge, have not been included in any completed mods. However, the Yuuzhan Vong are among the greatest villains ever seen in Star Wars. Not only that, but it's among the most realistic Star Wars book series ever written. It's all looking up and we're heading for an era that has never been touched on in the world of Star Wars Gaming: the New Jedi Order. With the release of the Battlefront SDK's (modding tools) this Expanded Universe mod can start kicking nerf hide.

Every member of the mod is really getting excited. Posts on the mod member forum are popping up hourly and ideas are constently being discussed. If you have any idea's or just something you would like to see in the game let us know in the comment and I'll pass it on. At the moment, movies are in discussion. Everything is going great.
