Hello folks,
it's been a while since the last News post. But I have great news for ya! I almost finished the mod expect for 2 maps (with finished I mean only the republic side).
On Tatooine I already got the legion for Mos Eisley, but there are still Jaba's Palace and Tantive IV missing. The team is basically (with minor exceptions on a few maps) set up like this:
- Clone Trooper (DC-15s Carbine, DC-17 Blaster Pistol, 3x Droidcracker, 2x Small Medipack)
- Heavy Trooper (DC-15a Rifle, either RPS-6 or PLX-1, 3x Mines, 1x Stationary Turret)
- Clone Sniper (E-11s Sniper, DC-17 Blaster Pistol, 3x Droidcracker, 1x Autoturret)
- Clone Engineer (M-30 Shotgun, Fusioncutter, 2x Detonationpack, Healthbuff)
- Special Trooper (Z-6 Rotary, DC-17 Blaster Pistol, 3x Thermaldetonator, 1x Shield Dispenser)
- Jet Trooper (DC-15s Carbine, EMP-Launcher, 3x Thermaldetonator, 2x Crackgrenade)
- Captain/Sergeant (DC-17 Repeater, DC-15a Rifle, 4x Sonicgrenade, 1x Remotedroid)
- Commander (DC-15s Advanced, DC-15a Rifle, 2x Plasmadetonator, 3x Impactgrenade)
So, that's it from the unit setup in the first place :) Next we're coming to planets and clone legions. Most of the work is fixed and I'm barely willing to change anything now, but there are still some optimizations to do.
- Coruscant: 501st Legion (Cpt Rex, Com Appo)
- Kashyyyk: 41st Elite/9th Assault Corps (Com Fixer, Com Gree)
- Mygeeto: 5th Sector Galactic Marines (Com Sev, Com Bacara)
- Yavin IV: 91st Reconnaissance Corps (Cpt Fordo, Com Neyo)
- Felucia: 327th Star Corps (Com Deviss, Com Bly)
- Utapau: 212nd Attack Batallion (N/A, Com Cody)
- Mustafar: 63rd Republican Guards (Com Fox, Com Thire)
- Kamino: Homeworld Security (ARC Fives, Com)
- Death Star: Rebel Katarn (Rianna Saren, Com)
- Polis Massa: 41st Elite Legion (Com Scorch, Com Wolffe)
- Geonosis: GAR (Cpt Tyto, Com Ponds)
- Dagobah: 182nd Legion (Cpt Prudii, Cpt Marrt)
- Mos Eisley: 442nd Siege Batallion (N/A, N/A)
- Naboo: N/A
- Jabbas Palace: N/A
- Tantive IV: N/A
Wow, was more to write than I thought ;) As you can see I haven't found suitable legions nor commanders for some of the maps. Suggestions are much appreciated! I made the list above only for conquest mode yet, but I want to apply it to all the other gamemodes too. Since a lot of people were asking if this will influence campaign or galactic conquest: I won't be touching anything in campaign mode but I'm not sure about galactic con ;)

Well, from a "story" perspective, the Tantive IV is about one party boarding a corvette, so the map could represent a scenario where droid marines have disabled and boarded one of those red diplomatic corvettes used by the republic, and the shock troopers (the red legion) must defend the ship and its passengers.
As for Jabba's Palace, I'm not sure, I figure something like the covertops troopers would make sense there, since the Republic probably wouldn't be there on official business, and they aren't supposed to invade Hutt space. They were there either to interfere with a CIS mission or to do something shady with Jabba. So I would suggest a legion that is very "secret-service-y".

This mod in galactic conquest would be amazing as it would make playing the republic mode a lot more immersive and enjoyable. :) keep up the good work.Cant wait for the final release :)
I also think that if you can (not too sure if it is possible to) add more planets for the mode if you understand what i mean because it only takes a few hours to complete the mode, where as putting some more planets would lengthen the mode making it more playable and enjoyable. just a suggestion, thanks for reading :)

dude gotta say im reaily excited for the next release so far this thing is a master peace for jabo palace sorry bad speller i would say commander jet and the sercet ops guys and for nabo maybe the marine ones also side note have you thought of adding durge or ashoka tano to the game ?
for the speacal ops i know two commander/ captain guys they have Commander Jet and keller maybe

I suggest you the following divisions for the three last planets:
- Naboo, the Senate Commandos ( as seen in the episode 18 of the 4th season of the Clone Wars )
- Jabba's Palace, the Mandalorian Death Watch vs Gamorreans Guards
- Tantive IV, 501st legion ( your 501st skins are too epic, they can't be shown on just a planet )
naboo should be shock troopers because they are guards, jabbas palace you should make mandalorian legion with boba jango and that group from the clone wars (im bad at remembering names). and for tantive make horn company with captain lock, you can see them in phase one so just turn their skins into phase II or look into comics theyre one of my favourite legions. just suggestions. this mod is the best ive seen yet for clone wars

In utapau i think you can put the republic commando gregor

Tantive 4 should be Doom's unit
