I love the Kumari class. My 3rd favorite after the Suurok class and D'Kyr class.
I often wonder if the Federation was never formed what would the Andorian and Vulcan ships evolved into as time went on? Though that brings up one problem I have with Enterprise. The Enterprise itself was too Federation like, because of the Enterprise series we see that Federation designs are just essentially human designs rather than a proper coming together of designs from different species.
You should see what the fans of the 80s and 90s came up with that they thought might fight in the Earth-Romulan war. It looked as though nacelles were reverse engineered Romulan tech as human ships were more rocket-like
The novels (as a lot of them do) tried to explain this, Human ship design with Outward nacelles were the most efficient for warp travel.
Vulcan ring ships couldn't manoeuvre as well.
