Deep Space Nine - reloaded is a free Interpretation of the Book Series DS9 relaunch, Typhoon Pact, Destiny etc.. Through the Books, I think the Bajoran-Ferengi Alliance as a Faction doesn't make sense. So I have decide to cancel the Bajoran-Ferengi Alliance.

I will The Bajoran-Ferengi Alliance replace by a new Faction, called Typhoon Pact.

This is a Alliance of Gorn, Tholians, Tzenketi, Breen and Andorians, which formed after a great Borg Invasion. The war has cost the Federation many lives and resources. After the war, the Federation entered a period of instability. This lost the Federation of influence in the quadrant. Through the wars of the Federation with the Tzenketi, Cardassians, the Dominion and the Borg threat, the Gorn and Tholians came to the conclusion that the Federation is a threat to their worlds. That's why the Typhoon Pact was founded, as a counterpoint to the Federation. The Andorians found that they become extinct. Through the loss of infrastructure and resources, the Federation could'nt help enough the Andorians. In her desperation the Andorians leave the Federation and become Member of the Typhoon Pact. The Breen saw in the Typhoon Pact a chance to expand her influence in the quadrants.

Now, the Federation and the Typhoon Pact stay against in a cold war.

You are right,a bajoran-ferengi alliance would not make much sense.
The typhoon pact sounds very interesting with all those faction members!

Th Typhoon Pact doesn't make sense either.... The Tholians are Isolationist, the Andorians are founding members of the federation and the Gorn are closely linked to the Klingons.

Actually in the original time line before star trek online and Abrams movies the Gorn joined the United Federation of Planets after a brief conflict with them. They actually hate the Klingons and the Romulans, as they both had invaded Gorn space. also the Gorn are relatively peaceful and only attacked the federation due to the romulans and klingons invading them before meeting the Feds
