Simply get the rewards as soon the targets of bounties/revenge/territory are dead instead of going back to quest giver.

Why not move it one step further? Set it to give us money as soon as we accept the quest...
Because that's make things too easy, you could just accept quests, take the money and then refuse them. This on the other hands gets rid of the bad design decision that is going back and forth, especially given the big play area of CoC. You don't have to be such a try-hard, you know.
That would be Ridiculous, and would run away from the STALKER theme.
Seems like a failsafe to prevent the loss of rewards, in case the quest giver dies in other side of the map. Just another solution like quick travel, to work around the distances.
This actually makes sense considering the whole Zone is obviously connected by pretty advanced PDA network so why couldn’t they just ”wire” you the money? It’s not like they ask for much evidence when returning quests anyway. Except for when you need to obtain items... then it’s a bit funny, but hey, maybe you sent them on a courier! Also, as mentioned with quest givers dying (especially with messed up spawns) it’s often not worth picking up quests, to avoid negative rep. This sure helps. Not yet sure if I’ll pick this one but it’s great to have the option!
strelocc, I have found a bug. When you kill the mutants from Hunter´s Mutants quests, the game instantly crashes. If you want the log, this:

EDIT: It wasnt your mod! When you go to end the quest at the NPC, it crashes anyways! Do you have any idea what can it be?
i had this problem as well but no idea why happens, i made a pretty simple fix for it but cant upload now, come check the comments tomorrow
edit: are you by chance using the trx alife mod? does this crash happen after a hunting quest where you had to kill either a bloodsucker or controller?
Yes Strelocc, I have installed TRX Alife with the "Living Zone" A-life simulation mode. And yes, it was a Quest where you need to kill a Bloodsucker, in Garbage map. Killing the blooduscker crashes the game instantly.
then it seems to be an issue with that, for some reason the "logic engine" (a whole bunch of code that is referred everywhere in the scripts that i gave up on understanding) doesnt expect a bloodsucker or other high tier mutants either in the garbage or as quest target so it goes belly up with the alife mod since it allows them to spawn in there, its just a theory since i dont know neither the code behind this "logic engine" nor the spawning
