How to install Anomaly Thread - S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat

To install S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, you need the 2 main files and all released updates.

Main Files

• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Part 1
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Part 2

Unpack both files into a new, empty directory. You need to unpack both packs in order, unpacking one of them will NOT automatically unpack the other.

Updates

• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 1
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 2
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 3
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 4
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 5
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 6
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 7
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 8
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 9
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 10
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 11
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Update 12 Preview

Unpack them all in the same directory where you unpacked the Anomaly main files before, in chronological order. If you are asked to overwrite existing files, answer "Yes".

Update Previews (always recommended to use, if available!)

I recommend to check the Update Previews Thread regularly, often times an update preview already contains important fixes before a new update becomes available in the downloads section.

Optional Addons

• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly Reshade - If you want to make it look even nicer more saturated, unpack this optional add-on in the same directory as well.
• Warfare for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly - WARNING: there are currently some problems with this port. not recommended unless you want some casual fun and chaos. - An optional addon that implements a more dynamic a-life simulation, many settings to control every factions priorities. Use this to make the game feel more alive, or, with the right settings, turn it into a war zone where all factions fight each other.
• S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly: Anomalies -An optional addon that adds dynamic anomalies to the zone that change after every emission, it also adds many new types of anomalies.

Starting Anomaly

First try to run "START-x64.bat" via double-click. If that doesn't work you probably have an older CPU that doesn't support AVX. In that case use "START-x64-noavx.bat" instead.

The google drive keeps crashing. Will there be a torrent for this?

Maybe. Right now I'm finishing up the repacked version. It will still be on a Google Drive, but split up into more smaller parts. That should make it easier to download Anomaly. The repacked version will also include all updates that were released so far and some new features and balancing tweaks.

I'm definitely planning to look into alternatives so that I can offer multiple mirrors for Anomaly on different hosting platforms.
