Rats are not enemies anymore, the NPCs and companions will not mess around trying to fight every single little rat
Made the vanilla and arszi controller version but you can also merge yourself as in this screen, it's pretty easy:
Line 300 write 0 to both actor and human, so they are neutral to each other now, finally my npc are not messing around like crazy... only for tushkano tho

UPDATE V2: thx to inamu found out the relations i edited were from rats behaviour to npc and not viceversa, so i also wrote 0 at Line 282 and 283 in the colum rat as you can see in the image below (for who wants to merge it), or simply download the new version i uploaded
Now they finally should act how is meant to be, to them run away from you and npcs ignoring them
Please structure the mod folder correctly.

yea sometimes there are no brain stuff made inside the anomaly files, don't know if is a compatibility mistake or the devs are probably focusing on something more important

Now, why would you do that? Rats are more frightening than pseudogiants and chimeras combined, while you're being shot by copters, lol!

thaks a lot, i lost count on how many times my companions got lost to the zone because they're chasing these guys
So I tried to do it manually by following instructions, rats do not run from the player or NPCs anymore but the NPCs still tend to waste their bullets on it. NGL This for me is kind of immersion breaking
Then I realized changing the values aren't two-way, NPCs relation towards rat is still -1 so
for a complete fix: at line 282 nd 283, horizontally scroll to the rat column and change both values from -1 to 0. This time NPCs would stop wasting their bullets on rats, now both can live happily ever after.
For more immersion you can revert line 300 rat value back to -1, and now you'll see the rat running away from you and other NPCs, without being shot at.

Gives me an idea for a new mod now... spawning rats where you would expect them, like in the old labs and various other places like that underground area in Zaton etc!

What editor do you use to edit the game? As I would also like to pacify the cats and dogs (ie animals that flee.
Come to think of it, how about pacifying all minor creatures or make them Allies?
Can we do this for tushkanos too? ******* will spawn in droves of 20 and drive me crazy.
