Description
Simple mod that removes grass and lod textures. IMPORTANT! Make sure to lower your grass options to there lowest setting for best performance boost. Works with 1.5.1 and 1.5.2 Added option for removing grass only.

hey... but the engine still process grass right ? it still calculate the grass but we simply dont see the grass ?
It does but its minuscule turn on grass shadow and you wont see ****! If i kept them the same size id think the shadows would still show up. I made the texture insanely small and the grass texture itself was deleted so its a tiny see through texture that replaces the original build_details.dds and lod. Its the only way to remove them that i know of other than editing the engine itself...
This is great for playing Warfare mode!
It gives you ~5 extra FPS.
i play on lenovo potato. i appreciate this
use directx 8 to run the game at the anomaly launcher (xray engine) and it will incrase your fps by alot dude, try it

No, just the grass on the ground.

When using this mod, models and trees that are distant disappear and only spawn within a short radius, even when using Max render distance, any idea how I can change this back to normal?
EDIT: Did it, just set my Object Detail to max and it worked.
