The stand-alone mod S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly aims to be the most stable and customizable experience for fans of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games. It's powered by the Monolith 64-bit engine, a custom fork of the X-Ray engine.
Makes exoskeletons and the good armors weaker, exos like 30% less value of protection and the weaker the armor the less it was nerfed, normal and weaker armor were not touched. For now against bullets only not mutants.
Probably not the best way to do it... Also a fully functionnal exo is rather tedious to get in the highest difficulties of the game.
I would rather increase their price, than making them useless. Because with your mod, there's almost no reason to play with an exo. ACE suit or Skat 9 + a good helmet also does a really good job, and with your add-on, this combo would mostly replace and perhaps perform better than an exo.

exos are still better than other things, i nerfed the strongest armors but they are still stronger like before.
It is my experience playing on good protection settings that at the start i would be one shotted by everything and when getting an exo the game would become too easy, i'm using this since some playthroughs and i like it.
Hi, I have not tried it yet, but from my experience, the problem of invincibility comes from abusing artifacts (not gonna spoil it, everybody knows).
I think that combination of Artifax mod and toned down mod from you (-15% instead of -30%) would be and might be the new golden standard. Just food for thoughts.

Not so great playing ironman mode when you finally get an exo and have one life and want to to to the north...
i would want all the protection i can get on ironman too, but i want to feel some sense of danger when sorrounded by a monolith squad and not get bored so i made this.
Don't think Exo are OP as it is.
Even with Duty Nosorog suit you still die from one well placed grenade or just by being in a firefight with a squad of mercs or monolith. Tho i do play with 1.2 Bullet Force setting.
i don't think bullet force settings affects npc, and this doesn't affect explosive damage either, its just that i find on good protection and exo games becomes a cakewalk.
just learn to aim for the head no matter how much armor Your opponent has he will die or maybe few bullet if he wear strong helmet
Also make sure hardcore aim effective for npc so they can also aim for your head as well they will shoot you with more accarcy even if you weary best armor they still can aim for deadly spot
Very good mod boy too necesary all of there want a easy shooter game without danger BOREEEED!! I think that this mod is very necesary for a end-game gameplay thanks and please keep updating
I was looking for something like this. Even on the highest difficulty with player protection on "poor" i could tank rifle rounds like nothing with just some heavy armour which made the game boring once you progressed to a certain point. And that is without artifacts that boosts it even further. This will also help with certain monolith men that decide that bullets don't do anything because reasons.
isn't there a setting for player protection?
