This is my first sp-map with Far Cry 5, it's a huge map which takes raughly around 30 to 45 min. to play. You get spawned outside a city were you have to fight your way through severel setlements to a Hotel in the mountains. There you have to fight very hard and kill everyone to finally get to the hotel owner who is hiding on the topfloors office. Ones you killed him the game is over. It is the assault mode of FC 5 so it can be played sp or coop. You need to kill everyone, which means 92 figures. You can see this on the small counter in the left top corner. Have fun and be prepaired to fight on life and death because specially the end of the level is really hard! Leon Brinkmann

Description

Installation of this map is very easy, just download this .rar file and extract it somewere on your pc. Then place the map file in your Far Cry 5 user maps folder. Default it will probably be installed on your C drive and then you can find that user map here; C:\Users\user name\Documents\My Games\Far Cry 5\user maps If you have installed FC5 on another drive then change C: with the name of that drive. After you have placed the map there start FC5 and go in Arcade mode and look for the mapmakers name which is "SPY-maps 1963" (without the " signs ofcourse)and then the name of the map, (Kill Hotel owner). Or search in Arcade for the mapname itself, which is SPYmaps - "Kill Hotel owner" (again, without the "ofcourse). When you search under my name then you will find lots more of my maps. Hope you like it and have fun, and be prepaired, it will be hard at the end. When you die you need to start from scratch again, which is bad, i know. But there is no option in the editor to place saves.

A few notes:

Amazing composition between different play styles in this map! Guerrilla warfare in the section before zipline, more COD-like assault on the rooftops, then siege and room clearing with plenty of explosives.

Love the pipe crawling approach to the motel/car junkyard.

I think enemies can be more evenly placed, to guide the player through calm, long intersections between major combat areas. Move some onto the bridge! About 40 enemies all stuck in the hotel at the end is kind of over the top.

The mortar is a great tool during the siege, although it can be placed better - maybe behind some cover, originally facing outside?
