No, in the SoA game storyline, of which this mod is based on the US was working alongside the Russian troops in forced restoring of the order after 80% of the World's population was wiped out due to a virus. There were some Bundeswehr officers too.
Any army-based unit will probably be friendly towards eachother unless something serious happens. Basiclly splitting the factions and the game's world into civilians and non-civilians factions like the armed forces or random bandits + cults.
The US/NATO had a significant presence in Soldiers of Anarchy alongside with a major research complex being setted up somewhere in Siberia. Thus it is plausible to see Eastern and Western tanks even though I kind of suspected the military hardware would be more oriented towards the East.
M1A2 have Highly supperior Firing computers,Thermal Imaging, Higher quiality ammunition, 32 inches of Armor pluss DU Addon,Communications, pluss its got a m240 and a M2HP with SLAP giving it a penetration power of 40mm of armor.Sure the gun is german but the Ammunintion it fires is all american and far supperior in Armor penetration then any BM round Pluss the Abrams line acctully has Experiance
