The aim of this mod is to add in the old locations from ShoC and Clear Sky, and to provide an enhanced and extended gameplay experience while (mostly) sticking to the vanilla storyline. At this point, the mod (v0.45 alpha)contains 37 locations total, approx. 200 weapons, lots of new armors, items, artifacts and anomalies.
Psi Zones are playing mind tricks on you. Nothing new, but they didn't make it into the vanilla game and I thought it would be nice to have them back in some areas.
I hope you can make the hallucinations be a bit more convincing this time.
When I first came across them in SoC I didnt even fire a shot at the first one because it was walking through the ground, so i thought "bullets arent gonna do anything" and I waited to see if it would do damage when it touched me. Lo and behold, it didn't and I ignored them from then on.
same here, you could make the hallucinations do small amounts of damage

Is dual wielding possible in STALKER?
Apparently someone from the russian community got it to work, but afaik nothing has been released yet.
I hope some1 releases 'em. That would be badass.
dual wielding,that's for the most part the meshes an animations,and also i think that there is something like that only for SOC,but i might be wrong.
actually, the scripting is the hard part (UI interaction, dual firepoints etc). If seen it done in all 3 games btw, but only SoC version is released.
Could you turn a detector into a gun though? Can't do that in SoC.
only visually, it would still act as a detector and you wouldn't be able to shoot with it.
