This is a total conversion of Half-Life 2, faithfully transforming it into the world of Frank Miller's Sin City. Inspired by both his original graphic novels and the more recent Hollywood adaptation, this mod promises a fresh campaign, a tale of vengeance and courage. Complete with nearly all original content, the mod plays out in true Sin City color, with most of the world rendered in a highly-contrasted grayscale with key elements peeking through in vibrant color. We are currently looking to add to the team, especially modellers and mappers. If you are a fan of Sin City and are interested in joining the team, send us an email at Seriously though, we really need some help in numerous fields. If you know a good deal about the Source engine and how to mod it and wouldn't mind helping us out, please let us know ASAP. Thanks!
UPDATED: Looking down the staircase, now with
improved lighting and all of the doors placed. No
enemies yet, but they're coming!
Awww man, i wanted to jump down it... These legs aren't made for walking...:(
LOL yeah, that would be nice---unfortunately that would effectively kill you. It might also be the way the collison boxes were set up... but we're not gonna worry about that. Besides, if you jumped down, you'd be missing all of the cops storming up after you!
To be honest I really don't think that this is a very good promotional image. It might give people the wrong impression about the finished product.
fair enough, fair enough. that's why I put the description on, and as I get better images I will take down the lame ones, but I appreciate the input. I just wanted to show that we are being faithful to the source material in our level planning.
I posted a newer screenshot from approximately the same area to show off the new lighting and progress on the level.
