Note: You will need to ensure that your borders are switched off in order to use this mod (and many others). You can use a border removal mod like this ( or switch them off in the .ini file. Find bBorderRegionsEnabled in the .ini (in folder My Games) and change the value to 0.

There are two easy ways to remove your borders:

Switch them off in the .ini file. Find bBorderRegionsEnabled in the .ini and change the value to 0. You'll find your .ini in the folder My Games under Oblivion, and it will be a text file. Scroll down until you see Find bBorderRegionsEnabled=1 and change that 1 to a 0. That simple.

If you don't want to do that, try this mod instead:

Just plug it in and enjoy border-free Cyrodiil.

You will now be able to enjoy a multitude of over-the-border mods such as Silgrad Tower, Ravenview Village, and a number of castles and towns.

Silorn Manor is the manor of a living Ayleid Village, buried deep below Skingrad. The house itself is a six-bedroomed mansion with pool, servants' quarters...

I signed up to tell you. This is my favorite mod (EVER). I use to play oblivion simply for this mod. I forgot the name, as I have not had a computer with the ability to play oblivion in years (crazy right?). I have been searching for it for months. I wanted to tell you that you have done an amazing job in the design of this mod. Thank you for sharing it.

This mod would be good if it wasn't so freaking hard to get in. And where is the second secret entrance, because I have Shivering Isles?

The second secret entrance is right outside the SI gate.
I'm not going to respond to complaints about it being too hard to get in. If it's any easier, people complain, so that's just tough.

Yes, there are two secret entrances, but if you use them without getting in as normal, you miss out the quest to acquire the house.

To use the main entrance, please see my other response about switching your borders off.

yeah, it looks awesome, but the only way to get in is with the "player.movetoqt" command and then you can't go back there later

Ah, you need to switch your borders off. I'll update the description to make that clearer:

Simply follow the mapmarkers added by the journal entries. The village itself is located through a hidden door in the waterfall out the mouth of the river Strid, just south of Skingrad. You may need to switch off your borders to access the village - either download one of the many border-removal mods or switch them off in the .ini file. Find bBorderRegionsEnabled in the .ini and change the value to 0.

This looks to be a really cool mod. If I could just get it to work. I have tried both the border removal mod and the .ini edit... no success. I can get to the entry way in the water fall with either one of these canges made, however, when I enter the the doorway and the next map? loads I am falling through space with a hazy, shadowy archway chandelier off in the distance. At this point I amfoced to reloa to a previus save. I have no other mods running in conjunction with yours. Please advise...

@ JSNU75, falling through space is a known mod issue that isn't really because of any fault with the mod - it tends to happen randomly with every type of mod - and may be a savegame corruption issue like the 'disappearing doors' issue with Morrowind. If it happens in your game, just use the ` key to open the console and type tcl to toggle off the collision. Just float over to the next room and then type it again to resume collision.
