This barely passes as a "style". A bad style at that. Replacing darkness with over-bright scenes? Not big of an improvement.
it's meant to be in a modern-style, most modern games(cough cough CALL OF DUTY cough cough) have a lot of flashy **** in them, this adds them into quake 4.
Actually adding this kind of bloom and palette makes no sense
The idea of a shader mod/graphical enhancement is to improve the game and not do what is shown in most of the screenshots
Although if the mod is customization then it won't matter because the user will be able to bring it back to where it needs to be. or better depending on what is in the mod regarding enhancements.

sorry but sikkmod looks pretty crap. i have to agree with teemuslayer. Over saturated light does not look good.
