I love the Lovecraftian style of this mod. It's style is absolutely LOVELY. I will probably be posting a in depth review of this mod soon in video format.

16 maps. A badass arsenal. One angry as hell red dude. Rip and tear as you please.
In all seriousness though, this mod is incredibly fun. Plays like a classic shooter and has art direction like nobody's business. As much fun as I had, there were a few flaws: The chaingun is incredibly underwhelming; with low damage and a limited ammo pool, it pales in comparison to its energy spewing cousin, both of which are way too effective at stunlocking opponents. There were times when I had way too much health, with pickups to spare, and other times when I was starved for healing souls and was forced to reload the same save several times hoping i can dodge just long enough to get off that second shotgun blast. And before you ask, this mod is not compatible with any other mapset. Not necessarily a flaw, but a damn shame as the whole experience should only take you about 45 minutes the first time 'round, and the weapons and enemies seem like they would be very compatible with other mapsets. But other than those "issues", this mod is probably the best mod released in 2019 in my humble opinion. Short, sweet, satisfying and sadistic.

It's... nice.
Honestly I can say that the colour palette is incredible, weapon design is fantastic, etc. It's all amazing visually, and for the most part gameplay-wise is gud.

But what ****** me off is the absolute spam of Matriarch. 15*10^32 insta-kill, high-health boss enimies which blend in with the background isn't fun goddamnit. Make a weaker version, and then spam it. Not hard to make a palette swap and call it the "Patriarch."

Then we have the final boss. AKA the biggest disappointment ever. After spamming the thematically fit for only one map boss which was a holy version of Shub-Niggurath (Which is a bad boss in it's own right in my opinion but can be chalked up to git gud) you have this pushover trace of the arch-vile. Where did those 2 decillion Matriarchs go?

i'm not sure why this isn't being rated too well, its not the most conventional looking doom wad nor is it the most visually appealing (i'm looking at you Womb walkway, made me feel queezy), but it has so much heart put in to it and scumhead is dedicated to it, i really have to admire what he's done here

the music is actually pretty great once you get used to how different it is for a doom game, and the sounds are all well put together imo
the visuals, while understandably amateurish and a lil hard to look at, are really unique and i genuinely enjoy the style that's been done here, it reminds me a whole lot of a weird mix of scorn, in the kingdom, and doom64, with the lovecraft inspiration coming out way more in the later levels
speaking of the levels, they look genuinely excellent, i can't say too much about the layouts as they seem a bit too open sometimes and enemies (especially on the harder difficulties) have a way too easy time killing you because of it, but the aesthetics of them are top notch; all the gothic architecture is really great to look at along with the rudimentary geometry and sky box looking PRETTY damn nice at times, the archives and the old kings' rest being of particularly high note for me

(Edit)
yeah, after extracting the music from the wad, i can easily say that this is one of the most interesting soundtracks i've heard from a doom wad, every song in here is very good, i really really really like it (it kinda reminds me a lot of the postal 1 ost)
there's nothing groundbreaking here, and the gameplay is really the same doom stuff we've all played, but i genuinely liked this mod a whole lot, and i'm excited to see what scumhead accomplishes next!

it looks good but the levels and weapons are terrible

Really excellent total conversion with solid art direction, amazing music, good atmosphere, and overall fun shooting. I think in a lot of ways it can get pretty easy with the universal soul ammo, which is an interesting idea in concept, but when you factor in the big boy weapons also use the same ammo, you can see where some problems would arise. I also felt that the weapons binds were off, so when I went to press 3 for the shotgun I would get nothing, and more often then not I would end up having to cycle through all my weapons to get the one I want, which can be a real problem in the heat of the moment. But yeah, despite all that, and despite it being pretty short, it had a lot of intense moments and I really enjoyed it, and hope to see you improve, and make more stuff in the future.

EDIT: Recent update fixed the weapon slots and even added a hud, which I forgot to mention the mod was missing previously.
