What began as a minor financial problem in the year of 2008, spiraled into a massive downturn of war and death. In 2015 the USA signs the AGA bill (American Goods Act) making it illeagal to ship jobs overseas to countries like China, Japan, Taiwan, and India. This act however poses a direct threat to the Chinese economy. The chinese government would not tolerate this act of war on the chinese economy and declares war a few months later. By 2016, the entire world is at war.
New update of the WiP Body armor. We will have many variations, from Rifleman, to Grenadier, to Machine gunner, etc. This variation is the rifleman variation, as seen by his magazine pouches for 2 mags each, as well as his 3 pistol pouches. In game, soldiers will carry ammo based right off the look of the body armor. If a soldier has 4 ammo pouches, he'll carry 8 magazines of ammunition for his rifle. So conserving ammo is important.
As for why the Neck and Arm holes look weirdly textured...
They were purposely made that way because you wont see the inside of those holes anyway in game. They're basically just inward extruded cones, and the head and arms will cover that up.

Actually, this model is around the normal limit for the MoW engine. The trick is all in the textures.

I think he meant the first release will be in August, not the entire mod being released on the first day.
IE The first public Beta or what have you. will be in August
