0: 10TP tank prototype. Should Hitler have postponed the invasion to 1940 his army's would have had to deal with these bad boys + twice as many 7TP which were already like the tiger tanks of the early war. The tank can also run with out its tracks FYI. Plans were even made so that the tracks could be disconnected from the inside of the tank which was a big advantage as all other cruiser type takes that could run with out tracks like John Walter Christi's prototypes had the crew spend 15 min outside removing the tracks which in combat is rather unwise. Only the Soviet BT fast tanks could really compete with it.

I don't think it's right to compare it to a tiger tank. This was designed for speed, the tiger was designed to deal with the KV-1 thus it had thicker armour and was heavy and slow (Or atleast the turret speed was). The armour isn't exactly thick on this, 20mm max? Virtually every gun in German service could penetrate it. But that's just how it in the early war, everything could destroy everything with virtually one hit (Except for maybe the char b1 and matilda). Would it have been a successful design? Hell yeah! You just can't compare it to any of the late tanks, tactics the way tanks were used had sevrely changed.

Nah i mean in retrospect to other tanks of its day this one like the 7TP, BT series, Vickers Mark Es, & Czech. & German light tanks this this was like a tiger in terms of how effective it was. The 7TP alone was able to kick some major *** despite being outnumbered so imagine what this one could have done do.

But yea I do see what you are talking about. Just saying that for early war tanks this one was very balanced & lethal. The Char B1 & Matilda tanks were by all means heavy tanks with focus on fire power & or armor leaving mobility in the back seat. Tho I shouldn't have compared it to the tiger perhaps the Russian late war BTs, T-34s, & US Sherman's would have been better since they were more all rounder tanks like the 10TP would have been for early war standards.
