After the war against the orcs ended and the land of Myrtana was liberated by the Nameless Hero, a time of rebuilding and new beginnings began in Myrtana. People recovered from the horrors of war. But soon the first rebels came who did not tolerate the new king. Zandor, an outcast nobleman formed a community that demonized the old gods and spoke of a paradise. Dressed in the robes of the ancient swamp community of the Sleeper, they soon became a menace to the realm. The king pushed Zandor and his last followers into the valley of mines of Khorinis, where they entrenched themselves in Bergmar's stronghold and erected a magical barrier with the help of the renegade fire mage Arkan. But in the ranks of the sectarians there were also spies of the king, you are one of them.
