Ya, I know it's not that great. But if you have any specific things that I can improve on or add to make it better, it would be awesome if you could tell me.
try building the map first (not demosished) then go back and demolish parts
there are many things unlreaistic about this,
1st you have a rock texture on the floor instead of rubble and the brush work just seems like youre making big boxes and adding detail to them, you need architecture, i dont know its really hard to tell what to improve because its such an early W.I.P
Thanks for the tips. I will say though, that I am not a talented mapper (AT ALL), and I'm really just making this mod for my own enjoyment... I hope the expectations aren't too high.
OK, here's a few things you could do to make it look better, select a few of the white rails/wood/whatever , and press CTRL+T, then change they're class to a Func_Physbox, then place them diagonaly on the ground.
For the white wall you should change it's texture to match the combine wall.
Not exactly sure what your telling me about with the rails, but as for the wall texture, it's a separate building, and the combine is only occupying one of the buildings on the block. But I do see why you think it looks out of place.
