A love letter to SCP and old PS2 games like Silent Hill 2 and Resident Evil 4 that tackles mental health and depression as its main themes.
This custom story was very well made! Great atmosphere and well made sound and music design! My main issue that the batteries ran out too fast and that I couldn't use my flashlight much because of it, my other issue is that there was way too much key to door puzzles, but other then that the mod overall was really well made with cool custom assets and custom noises!
I'm looking forwards for the future chapters of this mod and thank you for making it! :D
I feel so lucky that I was someone who got to playtest this mod early, and both times I did, I noticed more and more little details that add up to clue you in to stories about the environments or characters. It really helps to sell the idea that you aren't the only person in the whole world, or that it would continue without you when you die. 9/10 -ign rating
Well, I enjoyed it this mod a lot.
Fear factor was great and really terrifying atmosphere, I was most of the time edge on my seat how those spiders starts to appear and bad things happening whenever you solved something or progress on the mod. One thing was bothering me and I was getting frustrated how pitch black every room and area was, I understand this mod purpose is dark areas and you have to use wisely your flashlight or you are basically blind at times to search every corner and room. It's challenging to progess that way and some players may lose interest because of this.
Still I was enjoying gameplay a lot and solving different puzzles and most of them are made unique way too, like that Flaming the goo part.. or searching those fuses a lot of backtracking but it was fine when you get familiar each section.
Overall it wasn't that long and I craved some more, still very impressive work and something really different! Whole mod reminded me of silent hill a lot because of those dark hallways and dark rooms what you need to explore to progress on the mod.
Nevertheless it was enjoyable and scary ride. Must play for everyone. 8/10
Great game with a scary atmosphere but too dark and not enough to be seen which is very irritating ;)
So far so good. A bit too dark and the battery exhausts too fast, but it's one of the more unique horror experiences for this game, with a retro vibe to it. Looking forward to more!
I really really enjoy this mod! It reminds me a lot of SCP for sure, and there is this creepy feeling all the time. There are a lot of stuff and everything basically has a description or info about it, i like that.
The only thing that maybe could be changed is that its veeeery dark and the batteries goes out veeeery fast.
Other than that I can't believe its a mod for Amnesia. Well done! Really recommend, if you enjoy scary, creepy games.
