Crytek or Saber seem to have used a broken, unfinished version of the SCAR Model in the Remaster on all plattforms. Until this is fixed, I have restored the old (finished, more detailed) model for the Remaster.

I haven't played Crysis since it first released on XBOX360 ages ago, so I'm struggling with a lot of mods' lack of overly-clear descriptions. Tell me what's different like I'm a five-year-old. LOL.
Is this just a texture fix?
The Alternate SCAR looks like a different gun entirely? But not a lot of photos/video. I'm just not super clear on what I'm changing, but I'm intrigued!
By the way, is anyone working on replacing the SCAR with the actual FN SCAR maybe?
This is a model swap, it just replaces the model that is used in the game with the original model from the 2007 original game. The reason this is a "fix" is because the model they used in Remastered is an unfinished beta version of the weapon with UV Texture mapping issues.
The Alternate SCAR on the other hand is the model that was created by Crytek UK for the 2011 Console Release of Crysis 1, which looks completely different, as you have said. That version replaces the broken model with that one.

Yes! Thank you. That's what I was thinking I was seeing, but I just wasn't sure if I was missing something. I think I really prefer the Alternate, but to be honest, the gun sounds are so bad I haven't been playing. We need the modding community to step up and do an audio overhaul, lol. I don't have the audio knowledge for that, but I have the gun knowledge to know how bad they sound.
