SC SUM is a Mod based on StarCraft Broodwar 1.16.1 that preserves the classic StarCraft gameplay with all its original units, upgrades and abilities but enhances the tech tree by three new unique super units, corresponding new research facilities and lots of new upgrades and abilities. In detail: 3 new super units, 1 new support unit, 3 new buildings, 15 new abilities and 3 new upgrades.

A first look at the upcomming patch 1.36:
The Eradicator will receive some nice new features including burrowed movement and the ability to place spidermine-like suicide units.

One question:
Is this balanced?
IMO, it would be better than the super-units are limited to only one or two per player, So you can't mass it in a long game. Is this possible?

If this is balanced... well... I hope so...
I was thinking about limiting the super units per player at some time. Currently I have the feeling that this is an unnecessary constraint to tactical variations.
I have never seen players controling more than 2 to 4 SUs at a time in 1on1 games. The investment is to high to accomplish except in a situation where the game is won anyway.
Furthermore this is just a tech demo where the Eradicators are available in early game where they are totally overpowered, of course. In late game they die as fast as two Ultras, which can be very fast when hit by Spider Mines and/or Siege Tanks.
