When you run into lord parties and battles, these will be the default for the major factions you run into. They are easy to identify with.
Sarleon is my favorite faction. I mean c'mon, Lion coat of arms, Knights of the Lion, red and gold, descended from the old Kingdom of Pendor, the royal vibe that this faction gives off, what's not to love? And bonus points for reminding me of the Lannisters, who just so happen to be my favorite house in AWOIAF. I just have a thing for lions and red and gold colors I guess
