Samurai: Japan in Flames is a new multiplayer module for Warband. I am working on it since the 18th December 2011. This mod is not absolutely historically accurate and there is not released date announced. The context is feudal Japan, during the Sengoku period.

As I say Oda is yellow and Mori red in Shogun Total War, you can find references whith Mori in Yellow too. So we decided to make the Oda banner in blue.

It will be more easy to fight on the field like that. I think the mon is more important than the color of the banner.

And we can still change it at the end if we decide :)

I find purple or black best suited to the Oda chan.

There were generally no real uniforms at this period, both when it came to armors and banners. The only things that were consistent within the clans were the general design of the mon, and even then there were variants. However, the only clan known to have had a uniform color pattern was the Oda clan, who prefered to dress their ashigaru in black armor with lemon clothing. So considering this, i would suggest you use these colors for the Oda banner.
