Disabling the skybox and increasing /r_picmip in the 2001 shot makes the new one look a lot better in comparison doesn't it? :D
Comparisons should be taken with the same configs ;)
I love the new corona style with the lens flare, but in my opinion your roof texture is too snowy in comparison to the wall and also floor.
I saw disabled skybox after share comparison, sorry for this :D yeah I planning change roof texture ;)
Corona texture looks like mine :D however appears just like Rtcw, difference are in close visual I think, cause geometry is the same. You need to fix sun position and decrease lightmaps light. There are anomal shadow on the right (roof and floor) in contrast with the default shadow of towers on left. Still waiting for your next build. I wish you good work!
