MCVs have not required SD in RV for ages. They are directly available after building War Factory/Naval Shipyard. Mobile Expansion Vehicles used to require Service Depot but that was changes a few updates ago to not require anything too.

Description

Welcome back, Commanders.

After a few unintended delays, we are releasing another playtest for Romanov's Vengeance. While it is mostly balance changes, and bug fixes, one big new feature/change in this playtest is the Repair Rework.

In the naval rework, the Service Depots were placable on water. I wasn't sure about that, after some discussion about it, we decided that we actually do not need the Service Depots anymore. The MEV hasn't required Service Depot for a while now and they aren't often built just to repair. While i had apparently implementing vehicle selling on RV too, Psi-Corps has Grinder for that, so removing SD actually give a reason to get it as it is locked behind a Commander's Power.

So, how does repairing work now, that the Service Depot is gone? Each War Factory and Shipyard comes with 3 little repair drones. AFCHQ has 3 of them too, but Helipad and Disc Pad has 1 of them. They circle around their structures and repair damaged vehicles that come close to the structure. They don't care about the type, Shipyard dones can repair Aircraft and AFCHQ drones can repair land vehicles for example.

The Barracks also gets are healing area around it, similar to what Shattered Paradise had for a long while.
