Role Play: Annihilation is a MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) for Half-Life II. The game takes place in the fictional city of Abalos, set just a few years into the future, it is a world which we feel is not too far away, and not too unrealistic. We felt we wanted to keep the mod as 'real world' as possible and leave out any sci-fi elements which we feel alienate certain players due to their unrealistic nature, in our city you won't find lasers, spaceships or aliens. Abalos will be a very large city once complete, allowing players the freedom to explore, interact, find friends and enjoy themselves in many different ways. All the time the game will take place against the backdrop of a conflict between several super-corporations and a group of rebels, anti-capitalist fundamentalists, if you will.
