yes with the hover tanks. for the heavy tanks I turned them into a heavy laser repeater - because I think that tank needs some anti-infantry weapon and didn't want >another< missle launcher

Does that mean the remote turret can turn around or is it fixed forwards, it doesn't exactly look like it can aim much.

The heavy laser repeater variant's turret will be located elsewhere on the chassis, not where the missile launcher is.
