Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots mod |

This mod completely overhauls the game. Each age now feels more extended and isn't rushed, as well as gameplay is more strategic than just spamming units from production facilities. It is best used in multiplayer. It also tries to re-balance the entire game and add unique units to underwhelming nations and take away unique units from overpowered ones. ATTENTION STEAM USERS: A STEAM-FRIENDLY VERSION HAS BEEN RELEASED ON THE STEAM WORKSHOP. READ THE BELOW ARTICLES FOR INFO.

  • Naval Generals (all)
    • renamed ranks: Commander -> Fleet Commander -> Admiral -> Fleet Admiral
  • Byzantine Warrior, Byzantine Cavalry
    • can no longer fire on the move
    • damage slightly raised

    • added Trenches

      • slightly stronger and tougher than normal Assault Infantry
  • ROMANS
    • removed Panavia Tornado
    • added new unique unit: Carabinieri (Modern Age)
      • light infantry with very long range and LOS
      • long reload time
      • low armor

REMODEL/RESKIN

  • Peruvian Guard (reskinned and remodeled)
  • Elite Peruvian Guard (reskinned and remodeled)

MISC

  • fixed some various grammatical errors
