Resident Evil: Outbreak Resurrection is a modification for Unreal Tournament 3 using its innovative Unreal engine, which is flexible and has wonderful next-gen graphics. It will feature multiplayer cooperative play over the internet. It will feature changed game play rules to add a completely new game style to Unreal Tournament 3. Plot overview Resident Evil: Outbreak resurrection begins a couple of days after the initial outbreak in Raccoon City when the T-virus was released, moments before the crisis erupts into complete chaos. The game ends in the final moments of the incident, with the player attempting to escape Raccoon City before the U.S. government launches a missile strike to eliminate the threat posed by the T-Virus. The mod will tie-in with events from the original outbreak series and Resident evil two and three.
As you know, we have been working on making our first map – the Raccoon city police station. Our modeler ikillvampires has been working on models and textures while over in the mapping department Zubren has got quite far with making the shell of the R.P.D and Uberjager has been making our first weapons, the m4a1, a handgun and combat knife (W.I.P to come shortly)

One final note on the map, the boss in the level will be Nemesis (form Resident evil 3) in which you will try to help Brad Vickers fight against him in your chance to try and escape from the police station but the front entrance is blocked due to hordes of zombies that had followed the movements of Leon and Claire in RE2.
We have now purchased a new website (thanks to Zubren (thanks a lot)) which you can find over at www.outbreakresurrection.com we will be posting all news there as well as on our moddb page and we hope to see you joining our forums – all welcome.
We are still looking for applicants for our Development team so if you want to join please send me a PM. This will include: modelers (prop, weapon, and character), texture artist, coders, and animators – so if you think your up for it don’t hesitate to send me a message.
Thanks,

sounds awesome, how about a ps3 port eventually :P (i really dont count on it, dont worry)
I'm currently doing some weapon modeling, but i dont think im near good enough to do some real work though. I'll have to upload some current screenshots of the model im working on right now soon enough.
keep up with the modeling! we will be porting to PS3 as we think this is a big market for development.
Wow, thats surprising to hear. I will be looking forward to the PS3 version when ever it gets out. I finally got some renders up in my profile if you want to check them out.
keep up the good work.
This mod sounds really awesome ! :D
Thanks! we are trying as best we can.
You've got the OK from Capcom to make this mod, right? I don't want to see you guys get C&D'd and all that quality work go to waste.
Good luck!
no we have not, but have any other RE mods?
if we just make all are own content and don't copy there stuff exactly it shouldn't matter
Have you guys considered sending updates to news@beyondunreal.com as well? I'm sure lots of people would be interested in hearing about your mod.
this is a great idea - thanks!
