Welcome to ResidentEvil2 Destiny mod
Plunge again inside one of the best survival horror game and try to survive in an all new side story.
You play as Vander, one of Umbrella’s security detail inside its Lab., trying to survive while meeting
and helping people alongthe way. Using your wits and training you navigate through the Lab and escape
to the city not knowing that more danger lay ahead. Find and secure items to help you survive and ultimately escape,but remember some choices lead to different destinies and mayend in a tragic conclusion or a successful escape….

Installation:
Unpack files to a folderRun Resident evil 2 Video setting.exe to adjust video mode
Run Resident Evil Destiny.exe to play the gameNote: No Resident evil 2 game must be installed in the sytem prior to and while playing this mod.
No other files are needed to play this game. You can play it as is.
Before Playing:
Adjust the video renderer by running the Resident evil 2 video setting.exe while in administrator rights.(Run as Admin.)
Select the video card other than the software mode to get the game working properly.
In my PC, I used the Voodoo Banshee and screen resolution to 640X48016BitColor Fullscreen,
then I just use F7 or F8 to cycle around the screenmodes.
Bugs and Error still encountered:
Map in game not working
I have no tool or app to edit this files so I cannot change them,
We have to wait for others to build editors for these files.
Saving problem
I have encountered in one of my testing computer that every time I save once the next time I save the game will crash.
To fix this, after every save I restarted the game and just loaded the save.
Running the game without the admin rights sometimes fix it and gives me no error until the end of the game.

Okay I Run the game now, and game crash when I try to save. I run as admin...
Its been a problem with re2 platinum for pc. Do you have win10? May be the compatibility for other windows will work.
Xinput support would be great :)
Also the game's framerate tanks horrendously when opening the inventory. Any ideas to fix this? thanks.
Im sorry but i does not happen to my PC i dont know why? Ive tested this game on a dual core pc with only 512 dedicated video card. It works fine.you can press f3 for more options
Really awesome mod dude. I enjoyed it. will try for the good ending soon. For me the game crashed twice when I tried to use the custom shotgun on all the enemies that were eating the zombie with the Gen.set Fuse. Tried it twice and yeah crashed instantly. Also couldn't get cutscenes to work. Just black screens. aside from those two issues. Great job. finished the mod and I was happy. Keep up the great work dude.

Since I've walked through your mod with 3 endings already, it's such an outstanding masterpiece with your incrediblely great effort.
Not only the new backgroud maps and storyboard，but the details also leads me to a higher land comparing with other official RE games, even totally calling back my first wonderful memory in Survival Horror game ! ^_^

Only 3? Hehehe.... and thank you it has taken me 3 years to complete... if more people want I can make another one... because for me RE2 is still the best survival horror game because there are no schemes, just pure game play and story..

Surely it is such a wonderful hit!
Though I'm not fond of puzzles, there are still many interesting details showing me surprise, especially most of the background maps having been created newly and fully.When I walk through every room,picking up every item,searching every corner, it almost takes me back to 1998 with completely great impression of Survival Horror Games!
No menthion another aspects, Resident Evil 2 Destiny may be the biggest surprise in 2018. ^_^

Hi. I'm kinda new to this so apologies if I'm missing something obvious. I'm having a real issue with the screen size. The game loads fine but the screen is too big and i cant see it properly. I've tried adjusting the res, compatibility modes, f8 etc and nothing seems to fix it. can anyone help? many thanks
i also seem to get the "Failed to initialize direct x(R)" if i try running the compatibility mode. could this be the issue? I've seen there are lots of people having issues with this error for RE2, But they have used a patch to fix it. Really want to play this game, but am getting to the point of giving up. Any help would be very much appreciated

I have uploaded a patch and an instruction to make the game an iso and mount it first to fix the save issue

According to other users you need to change the Residentevil2 Destiny.exe compatibility to win95.

I'm also struggling with picture size being too large and keep getting the directx error if I try to run compatibility mode.
Is it possible to incorporate the Resident Evil 2 Classic Rebirth Mod into your mod? As the dll file fixes the PC version of RE2.
