Renegade X is a mod dedicated to recreating C&C Renegade in the new generation engine, the Unreal Engine 3. We all believe the Command and Conquer series is a very special one, and its fans have been following its games for over a decade now. C&C has been one of the most successful videogame series in the RTS Genre. Our modding team believes that C&C Renegade is truly a hidden gem in the FPS genre. C&C Renegade's specialty was its multiplayer mode, because it was not mindless killing like most games. A player was thrown into a battle as soon as he joined a server, in which teamplay was the only way to win. The game revolves around a war between the Global Defense Initiative, and the Brotherhood of Nod. Each faction would have their own base of operations consisting of buildings. A team had to work together to destroy the enemy base, while keeping theirs intact. Obelisk/Advanced Guard Tower (Base defenses) Without these, your team has no automatic defense. too bad those palm trees are from crysis, i hope you know its illegal using these models when you release the mod.
I also have a package with crysis palm trees and i know what i'm talking about. If you need any screenshots as a proof i'll get them for you.

We've already released a written statement concerning this Choco, did you not read it in the update thread? It was right above your post.

I'm speaking on behalf of the Renegade X team to apologize for this. What had happened was that we were making our own palm trees, inspired by Crysis, and we had been using the Crysis trees as a placeholder in the early stages of the map, until we had gotten our own trees polished and ready.
Due to a misunderstanding, our mapper had used the Crysis palm tree in our latest render instead of the standard Renegade X palm trees.
We thank the fans for pointing out this predicament, and have already gotten to work at replacing these palm trees with our own. As followers of the mod, I am sure you all know that misunderstandings do happen, and we apologize for the inconveniance.
Remember that the map is still a WIP, and we are looking forward to showing you all the finished version of the map in the coming weeks.
