Hello people, we are continuing work on Renegade Coop again.
An awesome conversion of the Renegade Single Player and Custom maps to an Online Cooperative game mode in a First Person Shooter environment.
Below follows a sample of the configuration file for the new Coop we are working on:
; Settings for MultiPlayerForums Coop
; Here you can configure several aspects of how the Coop server functions...
; The Version info will be removed from public release so they cannot change it.
;Turn on or off Veterancy levels from which players receive small advantages ingame.
; The health and armor total of a player is multiplied by this number to determine how many points they
; need to level up to the next veterancy level.
; When a friendly player repairs a friendly building, vehicle, harvester or unit they get these
; veteran points applied:
; The option Play_As_Team determines what Team players should be on. Use 0 for Nod and 1 for GDI.
; Set Time, Mine and Vehicle Limits
; Set wether or not there should be a Dynamic Difficulty which switches between Easy, Normal and Hard
; based on the playercount in the server.
; At how many players should the server switch difficulty levels?
; Should a message appear everytime the difficulty level updates?
; Set the GLOBAL difficulty if DynamicDifficulty is turned off, bots will always be of this Level then.
; Difficulty=1 -> Bots have 50% less health and armor than normal.
; Difficulty=2 -> Bots have 100% health and armor (as set on preset in editor).
; Difficulty=3 -> Bots have 50% extra health and armor.
; The higher the difficulty the less chance for bots to drop their primary weapon.
; The higher the difficulty the less chance for bots to drop big powerups for health and armor.
; Turn on or off the playing of sounds when you pickup powerups.
; Turn on or off bot powerup drops.
; Set the time for dropped powerups to be available, after it expires they will be destroyed.
; Below you can set various limits for characters, best used under the mapspecific settings.
; It is best to keep the limits for advanced characters low as it makes gameplay more interesting.
; If you want only one player to be able to play as Havoc you would set LimitHavoc=1 for example.
