Indeed! By the time of the Siege of Yorktown, they were also required to replace the bearskin with cocked hat decorated with red pompom but men didn't feel like it and remained faithful to the old style:)

you need to work for total war and help make a new empire. imagine: 18th century warfare is distinguishable uniforms, new mechanics, ohhhh i just love 18th century warfare and uniform

I love 18th century but I'd rather modding a hobby and watch CA recreate proper pike and shot era for next historical title. They've gone too deep in fantasy already and going back to Rome2/ Attila doesn't sound like much development.
