Why is the Third Reich there?
The entire premise of RA1 is that Einstein killed Hitler.
No Hitler = no Nazis = no Third Reich

That said the rest of the factions are lore friendly and even expand the scope of the game, which I approve of because:
No Hitler ≠ no Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy or Nationalist Spain

That said, I believe Hungary and Yugoslavia only joined the Axis for protection from the USSR so maybe remove them from the Axis and place them somewhere more fitting i.e. the Intermarium or the Comintern.

Hitler is just one man. Removal of him just weakens Nazism not complately remove it. Plus Einstein killed Hitler in 1924, by that time he was fairly known and already wrote (altho not published) Mein Kampf. Imperial Japan's existence has nothing to do with Hitler. Mussolini, Franco, Horty, Tojo are still there, so does other Nazis like Himmler, Goering and Goebbels.

The Nazis in the storyline of the mod, lost the elections. So by the time Hitler was in power OTL, Germany still had a democratic leadership. But after Germany declares war on Italy along with the rest of Allies to support Greece against Italy, Nazis decide that they are not in the correct part of the war and start a civil war.

Edit: Actually i read "No Hitler ≠ no Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy or Nationalist Spain" wrong, so my wording above might have been off, but you get the point.

Are you talking about En.wikipedia.org ? I guess they would be a unplayable part of the United Front. I'm not planning to increase the subfaction count over 5.

There will probably be campaign missions in Korea. My current plan for the storyline is so SK will be the last remaining land of the UF on the mainland when the ceasefire that will last till RA1 is signed. After RA1, Soviets lose China and Korea so there is a single Korea in RA2. (I know ingame shows only SK in RA2, but i complately ignore WWs maps while writing storylines because they are OTL maps at the time of game's developement which doesn't fit the storyline.)

Sorry for late response, but...

Hungary joined the Axis because Germany was the sole major power supporting the post-Trianon revisionism mindset of the Horthy-era against the "Little Entente" of Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and Romania. Excluding Austria, pretty much all his neighbors hated the country for one way or another (mostly because Austria-Hungary was really bad at respecting minorities, like Slovaks or Romanians).

Gyula Gombos's program started in 1932-33 would have positioned Hungary into the Axis, regardless of Hitler or not.

O.O

That's a lot of sides. I don't think even RA2 can handle that.

YR, with Ares.dll afaik supports 16 countries properly. 32 countries at all (afaik Taunts don't work for 16-32 which is not that much of a problem). Considering there are 29, it should.

They would fit more as a neutral faction, available only via capturing pre-placed buildings IMO.
Besides, they were (and still are) neutral in politics, they wouldn't join or create any military pacts.
Czechoslovakia on the other hand...

i dont think so if the war in french woud go diferent the may take the swiss beacose its the fastest way from germany to french/ Italia and that woud be a good reason to capture swiss

It's no way fast. The area are high mountains. What's more, the Swiss are defensive.
Besides, the banks there hold the money of surrounding countries.
The area also lacks industry or agriculture, which would make it worth capturing.
